This role is perfect for candidates with experience in handling public liability claims - whether in the insurance industry, legal field, or a related setting. It would also suit a legal executive or similar professional looking to utilise their expertise in a dynamic, high-performing environment. As part of a sector-leading team, you'll play a key role in enhancing in-house claims handling capabilities and driving continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities
- Investigate liability on individual cases
- Establish and manage claim reserves
- Assess and negotiate claims to resolution
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and best practices
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of legal liability and relevant legislation
- Familiarity with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and litigation process
- Ability to interpret insurance policy information effectively
- Skilled in investigation, evaluation, and negotiation
- Experience managing liability claims (public liability preferred)
- Proficient in case management systems and diary scheduling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and teamwork abilities
- Results-focused with a proactive approach
