Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Claims Technician for a global loss adjusters.We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator to join a newly established Waste & Recycling team, the role will be a hybrid role with a requirement to attend the London office weekly. Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will provide effective support to them as they lead this product, and the UK&I team of dedicated and designated Adjusters and Specialists who have been assigned to this team.Claims Technician Job Role
- Supporting the Executive Manager in managing this product by establishing a London office hub through which all aspects of the product are controlled.• Assist with client liaison and account management such that you establish relationships and ensure our clients are comfortable with referring issues into the hub with the knowledge they will be dealt with quickly and efficiently.• Assist with the marketing and promotion of the product.• Management of the administration of new claims including receiving instruction, issuing acknowledgments, setting up files and assisting with risk screening and triaging.• Working closely with Adjusters to assist with investigations and the validation of major and complex claims.• Controlling the lifecycle of the files to drive diary management and support the proactive management of claims from receiving initial instructions through to the conclusion of each case.• Overseeing Adjuster caseloads when necessary, during periods of leave.• Liaising as required with key stakeholders including policyholders, insurers and brokers amongst others to ensure optimum customer service, becoming a point of contact where needed for interested party• Incoming telephone calls / resolve queries• Invoicing• Other ad hoc work as required.
Claims Technician Skills Required
- You must have previous claims handling experience including caseload management preferably with a commercial insurance bias• You must be, or be working towards becoming, CILA/CII qualified• Organised and able to self-manage workload, having a methodical, accurate and analytical approach to work, with a considerable pride in the quality of output• Good working knowledge of Word and Excel• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to communicate in a clear, concise and structured manner • Strong relationship management skills, with a capability of establishing good working relationships with your team, colleagues and 3rd parties• Excellent stakeholder management with an ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands• Thrive in a high-pressured working environment• Be driven to meet and exceed targets• Flexible with regards to travel which may be required as and when.
