Are you ready to take the next step in your career within a forward-thinking, not-for-profit organisation? We are looking for a confident and motivated Liability Claims Handler to join our client's specialist in-house Risk & Insurance Team.

This is a growth role within a team that manages a substantial insurance programme in billions! This role is based in either Stratford (London) or Trafford (Greater Manchester) and follows a hybrid working model, with 2 to 4 days typically spent in the office each week.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to-

  • Investigating liability on public liability claims.
  • Establishing claim reserves and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assessing and negotiating the settlement of claims.
  • Ensuring compliance with procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to support effective claims management.

This position would also suit a legal executive or similar professional who’s keen to make a real difference while fully utilising their skills in a collaborative and supportive team.

  • Proven experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Solid understanding of legislation and legal liability.
  • Strong investigative and negotiation skills.
