A leading university in Central London is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Income Assistant to join their Finance team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with finance or income processing experience to support a busy department during a peak period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and allocate incoming payments accurately across student and commercial income streams.

  • Reconcile daily receipts and assist with banking and cash handling processes.

  • Respond to finance and income-related queries from internal teams and students.

  • Support credit control and invoicing tasks as needed.

  • Assist with month-end tasks and reporting.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.

About You
  • Previous experience in a finance or income processing role (education sector experience is a bonus, not essential).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Confident using finance systems and Excel.

  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.

  • Available to start at short notice and commit for 3-6 months.
