Your new Lloyd's Brokers believe broking needs a refresh, and their approach builds that foundation. They have ambitious plans and are looking to grow their talented team and international network of offices. Due to growth of the Marine Client Services Team a permanent job for a Senior Technician has arisen.

Your new roleYour new role working as a Senior Technician means you will advise on complex global technical service matters including slip production, risk creation, premium processing and managing client and broker expectations. Duties will include communication with various stakeholders, monitoring impending renewals and providing brokers with renewal information, and the timely creation and preparation of market and client documentation, including slip production, endorsements, wording, clause knowledge and geographical risk influences. You will monitor workloads efficiently, manage client portfolios through to completion, perform quality checks and provide resolution to technical questions from clients, markets, IBA, claims and brokers. Further duties will also include coaching team members, maintaining and keeping up to date all internal systems and databases, ensuring client service delivery is continuously reviewed and establishing and maintaining business relationships with markets and clients. You will proactively partner with the relevant broking teams providing broker support, preparing renewal statistics/documentation ready for market placement.

What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience in a similar role within the London Insurance Market will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have strong technical expertise in Marine business, good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, well organised, an ability to prioritise and multi-task and be a team player who is willing to work flexibly. You will have extensive contract wording and clause production experience to match client requirements.
