Job Title: Communications Assistant
Location: Liverpool Street, London (hybrid working)
Hours/Days: Part-time 25 hours a week (flexible on days)
Duration: Temporary, 6 months
Pay: £16-18phr
Join an inspiring organisation dedicated to improving lives through social innovation! Our client is a non-profit, impact-first investment fund that enhances lives by funding social innovations. They are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Communications Assistant to support their high-impact work in London.
Responsibilities:
- Managing Newsletters: Curate and manage engaging newsletters and blogs to inform and inspire.
- Social Media Management: Create and share dynamic content across platforms, including LinkedIn and Twitter, to amplify their message.
- Website Updates: Keep the website fresh and relevant - updating information for new joiners and leavers.
- Event Coordination: Strategically coordinate events and represent the organisation, ensuring seamless execution and engagement.
- Audience Engagement: Build relationships with existing and prospective clients to enhance outreach efforts.
- Innovation Driver: utilise existing templates while being encouraged to innovate and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Experience/Skill Set: We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in managing newsletters, social media content, and event coordination, ideally within impact investing or international development. The right person will be:
- Proactive: Ready to take initiative and drive communications efforts.
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and quality in all communications.
- Quick to Contribute: Able to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on external communications and engagement efforts.
