Senior Sous Chef
Salary: £40,170 plus Tronc

Duties and responsibilities related to the Senior Sous Chef role
- To assist in developing menus which are appropriate for the outlet operation, the market and the desired business goals.
- To assist in preparing and updating the Outlet Kitchens Departmental Operations Manuals.
- In the absence of the Head Chef, to conduct pre-shift briefings and regular communications meetings, ensuring that they are effective and conducted as necessary.
- In the absence of the Head Chef, to attend weekly Food and Beverage and Department Head Meetings, as scheduled.
- To help maintain and utilise other colleague communications channels, e.g. notice boards, logbooks, handover reports, etc.
- To ensure that all guests contact culinary colleagues in the outlet deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
- To ensure that culinary colleagues also provide excellent service to internal guests as appropriate.
- To handle all guest and internal guest complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Direct In charge for menus involving middle eastern influence in all the outlets of the hotel
- To help in creating special menus, suggest alternatives, meet specific guest requests and interact with guests to meet and exceed their culinary expectations.
- To help in monitoring all outlet kitchen operations, especially during peak business periods, working alongside the other culinary colleagues and making adjustments where necessary.
About You
You will have proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef in a hotel or high-volume kitchen. A skilled culinary professional, you bring strong leadership and organisational abilities, along with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
