The Role

As a Planner, you will play an integral role in supporting and delivering a wide range of planning projects, primarily large residential-led schemes across London. You'll work closely with senior colleagues and clients, providing expert support throughout the planning process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting key planning documents and submitting applications

  • Supporting senior colleagues in delivering strategic and technical advice

  • Liaising with clients, local authority officers, and stakeholders to progress projects

  • Preparing research, reports, notes, and correspondence for project manager review

  • Reviewing planning policy and legislation to inform strategies

  • Attending client and project meetings, and representing the business at public events

  • Assisting with fee proposals, tenders, and consultant team management

  • Coaching and supporting junior team members



About You

We're looking for someone who is motivated, commercially aware, and keen to grow within a consultancy environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree (or higher) in a relevant subject

  • RTPI accreditation (or working towards it)

  • Experience of submitting small-scale applications (e.g. condition discharge)

  • Knowledge of the London planning system

  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Good understanding of UK planning law, development management, and local plans

  • A collaborative and professional approach, with the confidence to take responsibility and client-facing roles
