Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor / ParalegalLocation: LondonJob Type: Full-time, PermanentLevel: Solicitor (2+ PQE preferred)

The Opportunity

My client of the last decade based East London is currenyly interviewing for a Commercial Property Solicitor or Paralegal with caseload experience to join their growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with strong experience in commercial real estate to work to develop themselves further.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling their own files, providing expert legal advice, and working closely with clients including developers, landlords, tenants, and investors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate leases, licences, contracts for sale, and other property documents.
  • Handle acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, and leasehold matters.
  • Conduct due diligence including reviewing titles, leases, and managing search results.
  • Liaise with clients and third parties, ensuring high levels of service and communication.
  • Support post-completion matters including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
  • Work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

General:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using legal case management software and Microsoft Office tools.
