This is a senior position for a confident, experienced family lawyer who is ready to take the lead and drive the growth of the family law department.This role offers the successful candidate the chance to take over an existing caseload of private family matters, supported by a highly experienced family paralegal, and to help shape the future direction of the department.?? Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of privately funded family matters, including divorce, financial remedy, and private children work
  • Supervise and collaborate with a skilled family paralegal
  • Play a central role in business development, with the freedom and encouragement to grow the family law offering
  • Engage with existing and potential clients to re-establish and expand the department’s client base
? The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum 5 years’ PQE in family law (more senior candidates also encouraged to apply)
  • Confident working independently and supervising support staff
  • Demonstrable experience with privately funded family work
  • Commercially aware and business development-focused
  • Passionate about building strong client relationships
