We are seeking a Business Analyst - Insurance Transformation Consultant to join G Mass Consulting and work on a transformative project with a leading insurance client of ours. This critical role, based in our client's London office, will sit within the Operations Transformation and Change team, collaborating with four colleagues to drive operational improvements. Reporting to the Transformation Lead, this is an initial 6-month contract with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office).
As a Business Analyst - Insurance Transformation Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the identification and delivery of operational transformation initiatives. You will partner with teams to uncover inefficiencies, propose solutions, and champion continuous improvement, leveraging tools like Power Platform and Power BI to enhance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with operational teams to diagnose processes, identify pain points, and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Support the evaluation and recommendation of process or technology-enabled solutions, utilising automation and data tools such as Power Platform and Power BI.
- Assist in documenting improved processes through process maps and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Contribute to change management efforts by helping teams adopt and embed new ways of working.
- Track and report on the impact of operational initiatives, supporting the development of performance metrics.
- Participate in stakeholder workshops to co-design solutions and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements

- Initial experience in operational excellence, business improvement, or transformation consulting, ideally within insurance or financial services.
- Understanding of automation and data tools (e.g., Power Platform, Power BI) and their business applications.
- Familiarity with process improvement techniques, such as Lean or value stream mapping, is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn and grow.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Enthusiasm for driving operational change and delivering measurable results.
Benefits

Paying between £45,000 to £55,000 per annum (pro-rata)
