A new Senior Architect job is available with a RIBA chartered practice in Hampstead, North London. Specialising in neuroarchitecture, the practice focuses on creating spaces that enhance well-being, comfort, and functionality.
Our client is a residential design-led practice that believes great architecture can transform lives. Their work is centred around neuroarchitecture, combining creativity, technical expertise, and research to craft homes that feel as good as they look. They push boundaries in design, prioritising natural light, spatial flow, and the relationship between architecture and human psychology.
As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Senior Architect to play a key role in delivering high-quality residential projects from concept to completion.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead design in RIBA Stages 0-3 with flair, empathy and strategic thinking
- Drive detailed design development (Stages 4-5) and manage delivery on site (Stages 6-7)
- Present design concepts and manage client relationships
- Work closely with the Interior Design and Construction teams
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Contribute to the implementation of BIM (currently using AutoCAD but planning to transition)
- Take ownership of programme, quality, and budget across multiple projects
- Champion the principles of neuroarchitecture throughout the process.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' UK experience working on bespoke residential projects
- Strong portfolio showing early-stage design talent and conceptual thinking
- Experience managing projects from concept to completion
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client expectations
- Leadership experience in mentoring junior team members
- AutoCAD proficiency (BIM experience beneficial)
- A passion for Neuroarchitecture: A strong interest in how design affects human behaviour and well-being. Ongoing training will be provided.
