Cedar are exclusively supporting a Public Sector client, operating in the Not-for-Profit marketplace, who are looking to hire a Procurement Manager for FM & Construction. This role is an initial 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) opportunity (with high potential to go permanent) and offers a salary up to £64,000 per annum with a range of amazing benefits which include c£5,000 car allowance, c34 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays and a day off for your Birthday) and more. This role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectation to be in the office, based in West London, 1 day per week (this may be more as you start the role and embed in the business) - the team gets together in the office on a Wednesday. Please note this role may also require travel for key meetings across the Midlands, South of England and London.

The successful candidate will work with a range of Public Sector organisations to support requirements within the FM and Construction category - you will be a critical part of the delivery team and will provide expert advice and guidance on procurement strategies, frameworks and legislations. The successful candidate will lead on a range of procurement activities covering the FM and Construction category, support suppliers navigate the procurement process and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet client and market demands.

Candidate applying MUST HAVE:

  • Experience working in a similar role in the UK Public Sector Procurement marketplace in a role covering Procurement, Category or Frameworks
  • Strong understanding of the FM and/or Construction category
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills - ideally a consultative approach to ensure compliance and value for money is achieved
  • Understanding of Social Value and the new Procurement Act
