Our client, is looking for a Senior Planner / Associate to join their dynamic London-based team. This is a permanent position ideal for professionals with significant experience in Development Management and Town Planning, particularly within commercial and retail applications.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing a range of projects including retail, trade, and warehouse schemes
  • Undertaking sequential assessments and retail impact assessments
  • Collaborating on foodstore and retail park schemes
  • Contributing to local authority retail studies
  • Providing expert advice on planning applications and development management
  • Ensuring all projects meet regulatory requirements and standards
  • Maintaining and enhancing relationships with key stakeholders and clients


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Town Planning and Development Management
  • Proven track record in undertaking retail work, including sequential assessments and ideally retail impact assessments
  • Strong understanding of the planning applications process for commercial and retail developments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in town planning or a related field
