I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their growing Energy team.

My client is looking for a London Market Claims professional to manage and handle Power Generation Claims for the Syndicate. This is a brand new role in the business and they are looking for someone with 5+ years experience handling Energy Claims and someone who is proficient using ECF and familiar with Lloyd's Claims Schemes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide feedback to underwriters and management on claim structures and associated risk information, aiming to enhance the overall quality of underwriting within the company.
  • Conduct in-person negotiations with clients.
  • Attend client meetings in support of Underwriters.
  • Ensure all assigned claims are managed in accordance with company philosophies and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Prepare and deliver departmental reports as required.
  • Participate in market meetings and conference calls as necessary.
  • Ensure all complaints and related incidents are accurately recorded and resolved in line with company policy.
  • Support internal stakeholders by undertaking various ad hoc tasks and project work as needed.
  • Consistently demonstrate compliance with Lloyd's minimum standards and provide support to underwriters and claims adjusters to facilitate claim progression.
