My client is looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join a well-established food manufacturing company in Walthamstow. If you are enthusiastic and motivated, with a dedication to continuous improvement, this job will be ideal for you. My client needs you to have great problem-solving skills, as well as being able to work within a wider team.

A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in electrical, automation, or multi-skilled engineering (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
 
In this role, you’ll work across shifts (days and nights) to deliver continuous improvement, proactive maintenance, and timely repairs. You will have a variety of key accountabilities that will range from diagnosing and resolving automation, electrical and mechanical issues during breakdowns, focusing on KPI’s such as OEE and CCO’s and maintaining high standards of safe working.

Experience and Qualification Required

  • Experience in training and coaching others.
  • Time served apprenticeship in industrial maintenance.
