Mechanical Building Services Engineer

Location: West End, London (W1)

Salary: 43,000 - 47,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Mechanical bias Building Services Engineer to join our dedicated on-site team at a prestigious, high-end commercial office space in the heart of London's West End.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a stable, static role with a great work-life balance and no call-out rota. You will be the go-to expert for all mechanical systems, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of this landmark building.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on all mechanical plant and equipment.

  • Fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair on systems including Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), pumps, motors, and associated pipework.

  • Performing general plumbing tasks and basic fabric maintenance as required.

  • Monitoring the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure optimal performance.

  • Maintaining accurate records and logs of all completed work.

  • Ensuring all work is carried out in strict compliance with current health and safety regulations.



The Ideal Candidate:

  • Fully qualified with an NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2/3 in a mechanical discipline (e.g., Plumbing, Heating & Ventilation, Air Conditioning).

  • Proven experience working as a maintenance engineer within a corporate or high-end commercial environment.
