This charitable organisation is looking to recruit an Operations Manager to oversee projects and deliver the efficient functioning of a range of business functions, including finance and HR processes, to ensure the organisation can continue to work in the public interest.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager Role:

  • Oversee the work of the Operations team, ensuring high standards across all aspects of the organisation’s activities and undertaking regular reviews.
  • Ensure the organisation meets its governance and statutory requirements, updating any documents and providing logistical and secretariat support to board and committee meetings.
  • Manage HR processes and take responsibility for maintenance of the building.
  • Ensure compliant financial management, in coordination with other senior management.
  • Take responsibility for the organisation’s continued compliance with charity and company law.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educated to degree standard or with equivalent professional experience.
  • Successful HR, financial, and team management experience within a charity or public sector environment.
  • Highly-organised, with the ability to manage resource-minded projects to successful conclusion and to oversee multiple areas of work simultaneously.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with committee secretariat experience an advantage.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Salary and Details:

  • c£55,000 to c£60,000 per annum
  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Based in Central London, with provision for remote working for 2 days per week.
