We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Operations Manager to oversee the smooth running of an academic foundation and office space. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, and professionally maintained environment for staff, students, and visitors.

This is a Monday - Friday office based role.

Salary - £55,000pa + 10% bonus and pension contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small facilities team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

  • Manage teams of cleaners, security personnel, and contractors.

  • Deliver a seamless support service, ensuring high-quality proactive and reactive maintenance across all facilities.

  • Maintain standards in line with the organisation's expectations while ensuring value for money.

  • Oversee all aspects of repairs and maintenance, including:

    • Air conditioning

    • Electrical systems

    • Plumbing

    • Building fabric

    • Health & safety compliance

    • Emergency support and response

  • Provide hands-on technical support and coordination to the maintenance team.

  • Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules effectively.

  • Manage and coordinate contractors, ensuring timely completion of works.

  • Inspect, monitor, and ensure quality of all maintenance works and projects.
