Project values range from 3 million up to 20 million, offering a fantastic opportunity to lead high-profile interior developments within a quality-driven and highly respected team.
Project Overview
You will manage complex joinery and interior fit-out projects, ensuring seamless delivery from site setup through to final handover. The role requires a hands on approach to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship, quality, and safety on fast-paced, high-value projects in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of site management for interior fit-out and joinery projects in a variety of spaces throughout London
- Oversee all on-site activities including joinery installation, bespoke fittings, and finishes, ensuring adherence to project programmes and quality standards.
- Coordinate multiple specialist trades and suppliers, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery.
- Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards on site, fostering a safe working environment.
- Monitor and control project budgets, materials usage, and subcontractor performance to prevent cost overruns.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Contracts Manager, project team, and clients regarding site progress and challenges.
- Keep detailed, accurate site records and reports to support project management and compliance.
- Lead regular site meetings, promoting strong collaboration among all parties.
Person Specification
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within joinery, fit-out, or interior construction, ideally with exposure to high-value London projects.
- Strong background in joinery or bespoke interiors is highly advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fit-out methodologies, sequencing, and quality control processes.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach and the ability to deliver under pressure.
- Ability to work closely with senior management while leading an on-site team to meet key milestones and client expectations.
