Role Overview:

As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of our projects. You will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of our projects, from contract negotiation and administration to cost control and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable commercial terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cost management strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks to protect the company's interests.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management review.
  • Manage claims and disputes effectively to maximize revenue.
  • Mentor and develop junior commercial staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a commercial management role within the M&E engineering industry.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and commercial best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, Primavera).
