Lead Mechanical Building Services Engineer
Location: West London (Critical Hospital Environment)
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our team in a critical hospital environment in West London. This is a senior role where you will take responsibility for the mechanical systems that are essential to patient safety and hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical building services across the hospital estate.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee maintenance, testing, and upgrades of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.
- Respond promptly to critical issues to maintain uninterrupted hospital operations.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
- Proven experience in mechanical systems within healthcare or other critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) and relevant UK regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex projects.
