Your new companyOur client are a large, leading FM service provider who operate across the UK and globally. Due to a new contract win, they are hiring a number of engineering roles for their delivery team. Their end client are a large public sector organisation with a significant portfolio of commercial and residential properties. You will be working on a van mobile basis, with company van provided, and working hours are Monday - Friday 8 - 5.Your new roleAs a Mobile Multi-Skilled HVAC Engineer you will work on a van mobile basis and carry out a range of mechanical maintenance to relevant plant and equipment in a range of commercial properties for a large public sector portfolio. Key duties will include:

  • Identify and manage the risks to end client through equipment on site, including identifying critical spares, improving performance of plant & equipment, managing environment conditions through BMS system.
  • Fault-finding on all types of HVAC plant and equipment.
  • Reactive and PPM maintenance tasks.
  • Working with refrigerant and handling F-gas.
  • Provide technical expertise to the maintenance team where possible.
  • Supervision and management of subcontractors.

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role you will require relevant experience in a HVAC and maintenance engineering role within commercial properties. You will also require:

  • F--gas safe handling and use of refrigerants
  • Mechanical qualifications
  • Full UK driving license
  • Public sector estate experience desirable
  • Experience and willingness to operate in a multi-skilled capacity where possible
