Role- Technical Manager

Location- London (with occasional travel)

Role Overview: Oversee engineering operations at Legal and General sites, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence. Manage reactive and planned maintenance (PPM) for critical systems (mechanical, electrical, public health services, building fabric) while maintaining luxury service standards akin to 5-star hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead engineering operations, ensuring high service standards.

Drive strategic goals and maintain luxury service levels.

Manage PPM and reactive services for critical systems.

Foster strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.

Identify business opportunities and manage subcontractor relationships.

Focus on health, safety, and training, creating a high-performance culture.

Monitor performance metrics for timely and efficient service delivery.

Act as the key technical resource, solving problems and improving service delivery.

Key Duties:

Ensure smooth operation of all services while maintaining luxury standards.

Manage compliance and audit readiness.

Lead teams and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs.

Foster a collaborative environment to meet performance goals.

Manage reactive calls and ensure swift resolution.

Oversee subcontractor performance and quality.

Provide training and development to team members.

Essential Skills:

Recognised electrical or mechanical qualifications.

Proven track record in critical environments.

Experience managing large teams and complex contracts.

Health and Safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH).

Strong IT skills and commercial awareness.
