Membership Coordinator Manager (Engineering Industry) - £28k to £30k annual OTE bonus – Central London
A professional membership organisation within the Engineering industry, is looking for an experienced Membership Coordinator to join the team. The role will be to assist the Membership and Professional Standards Manager to manage the professional development of members and accreditation of courses. Coordinate professional registration and all other activity, as well as assist the Society regional groups by providing administrative support, and ensure effective communications with Society members.
SALARY ETC:
- £28k to £30k annual OTE bonus.
- Central SW London
- Permanent, full-time
- Hybrid working, with 2 days in the office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Membership organisation and telesales experience.
- Skilled at word processing and other IT applications including Microsoft Dynamics, Mail merge, Excel spreadsheets, e-mail and databases.
- Good administrative and organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentational skills.
- Numerate with a good standard of literacy
- Ability to use own initiative, work well as part of a wider team and with Society volunteers.
- Friendly disposition, good telephone manner.
- Able to work on own initiative, with a mature approach and proven attributes of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Flexible and able to work with staff and volunteers as part of a team
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- To promote membership and manage membership through CRM procedures
- Deal with member enquiries and payments, assist with reporting
- Deal with membership recruitment and campaigns and liaise with regional groups and provide administrative support
- To promote registration to members and deal with registration enquiries
- To acknowledge receipt of applications, prepare registration schedules, update membership database
- Post list of registrants for approval by Councils
- To facilitate interviews and other meetings
- Liaise with the Membership & Registration Manager on work schedule and forward planning and to provide advice and support as required
- Promote membership and registration qualifications and to ensure any leads are followed up
- To attend events to promote membership and professional standards
- Work with Membership team when necessary, providing general admin support and database admin back-up
- To attend meetings/functions as necessary at Head Office or elsewhere
- To attend internal and/or external training sessions as required.
