Want to work on high profile projects up to multi million pounds in value? Are you a structural engineer with at least 4 years' experience, including facades? Our client is urgently looking for a candidate like you.
With a workload well into 2026, this busy firm is needing to bring in staff to assist with project delivery. You have heard it before, but it is true - they need a confident engineer who can hit the ground running and will be conscious of deadlines, liaise with clients and subcontractors and focus on meeting all requirements.
Their orderbook is primarily refurbishment, redesign and recladding and you will work on schemes from social housing to science research centres - a very varied workload!
The role:
- Provide project procurement, design & specifications, schedule, budget and site monitoring alongside a more senior engineer
- Ensure bespoke faade solutions meet a high quality
- Carry out site inspections and liaise at all levels
- Undertake survey & investigation
Requirements:
- Degree: MSc, Meng, RIBA/ARB or other relevant qualification
- At least 4 years' experience in structural engineering, with knowledge and project experience of faade industry, including curtain walling, SFS and faade systems
- Knowledge of software such as CMAP, AutoCAD, Bluebeam or Adobe would be an advantage
