Ryder Reid Legal is currently recruiting for a Senior BD Specialist to join one of our prestigious, international law firm clients on a permanent basis at their London office. Reporting to the Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the firms high-profile Private Equity and M&A practice. This new position will be an integral part of the firm's dynamic business development function, driving growth and increasing exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the London Private Equity and M&A team with business development tasks.
  • Ensure smooth execution of BD activities.
  • Attend partner meetings and provide insights.
  • Prepare and deliver pitch presentations.
  • Assist in developing strategic business plans.
  • Identify potential clients and maintain trackers.
  • Develop strategies to engage new clients.
  • Organise client lists and industry data.
  • Help produce client development events.
  • Research and coordinate engagements and sponsorships.
  • Share market and client intelligence within the firm.
  • Manage submissions for practice directories.
  • Track rankings and use recognitions for marketing.
  • Work on award submissions and profile-raising opportunities.
  • Stay updated on market trends and report changes.
  • Create and distribute firm articles and newsletters.
  • Track marketing expenses and support budgeting.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
