Office Manager Role

This is a key role within the school's administration team, covering the current post holder's absence. As Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the school office and providing high-level administrative support to the Headteacher and leadership team.

  • Ensure the smooth and effective running of all office functions

  • Manage communication with families, staff, and external stakeholders

  • Maintain accurate records of students and staff

  • Support HR and compliance tasks, including safeguarding documentation

  • Coordinate diaries, meetings, and school correspondence

  • Act as a professional and welcoming point of contact for all visitors to the school

Office Manager Person Specification
  • Previous experience as an office manager or senior administrator, ideally within a school

  • Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • A professional and personable approach to communication

  • Understanding of SEN environments and the importance of safeguarding
