We're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our fast-paced and busy payroll department. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established, reputable company that values accuracy, teamwork, and people.

About the Role:

As a Payroll Officer, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll for our employees, ensuring everyone is paid accurately and on time. You'll work closely with colleagues, supporting both routine and ad-hoc payroll activities, and helping to drive process improvements where possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process monthly payrolls
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • New starters, and leavers
  • Assist with payroll reporting
  • Keep up to date with payroll legislation and company policies

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a payroll role, ideally within a busy environment
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, legislation, and systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • Experience with resourcelink is a plus
