Description
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of plumbing systems within the organisation's facilities.
- Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing installations and associated systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing duties.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address building service issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Order and manage stock levels of plumbing materials and equipment as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies to minimise disruption to operations.
- Provide advice and guidance on plumbing systems to other departments as required.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Plumber should have:
- Relevant plumbing qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing plumbing systems in a professional environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in the property industry.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards in all tasks.
