Location: London / Hybrid

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000

As they continue to grow and adapt to an increasingly complex regulatory landscape, they are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Compliance Business Partner to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the business and help shape the compliance function to support sustainable and compliant growth.

The Role:

As Compliance Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing clear, practical, and strategic compliance guidance across a range of regulatory topics. You will work closely with broking teams and senior stakeholders to embed a strong compliance culture and ensure adherence to FCA, Lloyd’s, and other applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a first point of contact for compliance queries from the business.
• Provide day-to-day regulatory advice, particularly relating to FCA requirements and Lloyd’s minimum standards.
• Support business units in understanding and managing regulatory risk.
• Deliver compliance training and awareness sessions.
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Contribute to thematic reviews, internal audits, and monitoring activities.
• Support regulatory reporting and engagement with external bodies such as the FCA and Lloyd’s.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Risk & Compliance team to ensure effective oversight.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a compliance role within a Lloyd’s Broker, MGA, or insurance firm.
• Strong working knowledge of UK regulatory requirements, especially FCA and Lloyd’s frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commercial awareness and a pragmatic, solution-focused approach.
