Compliance Officer, part- time

Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, are seeking a skilled and highly experienced Compliance Officer to join their team on a part- time basis. This is a permanent position, where you will have autonomy to support the wider business and provide dedicated compliance assistance, with a key focus on regulation.

The business require someone who enjoy building stakeholder relationships and can thrive in a fast paced environment!

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing, implementing and overseeing compliance policies and procedures to ensure the company meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Providing expert support on licensing queries and renewals.
  • Supporting on conduct risk and consumer duty guidance.
  • Submit SMF applications.
  • Providing expert compliance advice to internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Regulatory reporting and returns.
  • Staying updated on relevant regulatory updates.
  • Assist with board meetings and organisation.
  • Aiding with financial crime prevention.
  • Participate in horizon scanning.

Key Skills:

  • Strong compliance expertise within insurance is essential.
  • Ability to multitask and take initiative.
  • Posses strong regulatory knowledge and understanding.
  • Experience with licensing matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
