What you'll do:

As a Regulatory Policy Manager, you will play an integral role in providing guidance on regulatory policy interpretation, business advisory, and regulatory and industry engagement. Your focus will be on traded risk within the prudential regulation framework. You will provide subject matter expertise on both current and future rules while also offering regulatory advisory support to key internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will meet regulatory demands from the PRA, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

  • Provide subject matter guidance and thought leadership on regulatory policy and interpretation of the traded risk prudential framework for both current and future rules.
  • Offer traded risk regulatory advisory support to key internal stakeholders in the business and to supporting functions in risk and finance.
  • Provide business transaction policy support and advice.
  • Meet regulatory demands from the PRA including supporting senior management attestation, thematic reviews, information requests and CRO letters.
  • Support the group with regulatory permissions, notifications, etc.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Regulatory Policy Manager position brings a strong working knowledge of the prudential regulation framework for traded risk. You have a solid background in prudential regulatory policy/reporting gained through experience with financial services institutions, consultancy or regulator. Your ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements to banking products and transactions sets you apart. You have proven experience in developing, maintaining and reviewing high-quality regulatory documentation. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to influence at all levels of an organisation.
