Senior Compliance Analyst

Oliver James are partnered with a highly well- established leader within the General Insurance industry, who are recruiting for a Senior Compliance Officer (Generalist) to join their brand- new City of London office. For this role, you will be required to work in the office 3 days per week.

This role will report directly into the Compliance Manager, where you will be closely supporting the wider compliance team.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in insurance and compliance, who are looking to develop their skills and advance their careers in this incredible business. You will be able to gain exposure and take on new challenges.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in industry regulations and laws.
  • Prepare regulatory reports.
  • Provide advice to the business on the challenges and changes to regulation.
  • Assist in preparing compliance reports and documentation.
  • Assist with sanctions screening.
  • Participate in compliance training.
  • Maintain and review compliance policy documents.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with key stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Experience working within compliance in insurance is essential.
  • A strong ability to multitask and act as the point of contact for the wider compliance team.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Strong administrative skills with a focus on detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
