About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Services Manager to join a large Tier 1 Mian contractor in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of high-profile construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) expertise and a proven track record of managing technical services on large-scale construction schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate all M&E services from design through to handover.

  • Oversee the integration of building services into overall construction programmes.

  • Manage M&E consultants and subcontractors to ensure compliance with programme, quality, and cost.

  • Review technical submissions and ensure all designs meet the client brief and statutory regulations.

  • Liaise with the project team, architects, and engineers to resolve any design or technical issues.

  • Monitor and report on M&E progress, quality, and performance throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure health & safety standards are maintained across all technical services works.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Technical Services Manager role within the construction sector.

  • Demonstrable experience managing projects of 15 million or more, ideally in commercial fit out projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical systems and how they integrate within complex construction environments.

  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations, CDM regulations, and current industry standards.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Building Services, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
