One of the most fascinating clients I am fortunate enough to partner with are looking for a Product Owner to contribute to the strategy and drive the development and optimisation of the search experiences on the .com and internally. Thus, playing a key role in supporting top-line traffic and conversion rates.
Experience with Elastic Search would be more than beneficial, and any exposure to Blaze or similar would be very welcome, but not a necessity as this would be handled directly by the CRM team.
Scope of Work
- Own and manage the product backlog, prioritising items based on business value, data, and the team's core objective to help users to easily search, browse and navigate.
- Responsible for the the product road-map, including both front-end search user experiences and APIs to downstream cataloguing systems and data stores.
- Lead a blended team of contractors (UX, Design, BA and more...) and full stack third party development and testing teams using agile methodologies.
- KPIs and measurable success criteria, ensuring everyone is aligned on goals and priorities
- Partner with the Tech Lead to ensure alignment between the technical architecture goals and the product road-map.
- Gather requirements from internal stakeholders, building relationships and keeping them informed throughout the product life-cycle
