Salary: £54,000 – £57,000 per annum + Overtime
Shifts: Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights – 4 on, 4 off)

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Shift Lead Engineer to join on-site engineering team in a prestigious commercial building in Canary Wharf. This role is ideal for an engineer with both mechanical and electrical expertise, looking for a long-term position within a high-end facilities management environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Responding to and resolving building services faults efficiently during shift hours.

Ensuring compliance with health & safety, statutory regulations, and company procedures.

Monitoring BMS and critical plant systems, escalating issues where necessary.

Keeping accurate records of work via CAFM systems and shift handover reports.

Supporting energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives within the building.
Key Requirements:

City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical with Mechanical Engineering experience

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential for electrical bias).

Proven experience in commercial building maintenance or critical environments.

Solid understanding of HVAC systems, lighting controls, pumps, motors, and building automation.

Ability to work independently and as part of a shift team.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
