Hiring: Project Director

We are looking for an experienced Project Director, to join our client and oversee a landmark project in East London, this is a high rise residential scheme consisting of over 300 high end units in a 43 storey tower.

You have operational control over the development, ensuring seamless execution from procurement to completion. You will be responsible for health & safety, project sequencing, supply chain management, and stakeholder engagement. This is a senior leadership role, demanding a strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the development industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage project teams, including recruitment and chairing key meetings.
  • Oversee third-party management and ensure all agreements are in place.
  • Ensure compliance with planning obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement construction sequencing and logistics strategies.
  • Manage procurement strategies and oversee the tendering process.
  • Forecast project costs, develop budgets, and mitigate risks.
  • Drive design leadership from planning through to completion.
  • Ensure full implementation of a quality assurance system.
  • Liaise with funders, investors, and partners, preparing external reports.
  • Administer project change control and develop a handover management plan.
  • Collaborate with customer care teams to ensure client satisfaction.
