Location: London

Rate: 300.000 - 330.000 (Freelance with Potential Temp to Perm)

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience working as a Project Manager completing refrigeration projects within the retail sector
  • City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • F-Gas qualification: City & Guilds 2079, BESA F-Gas, CITB J11, or LCL F-Gas
  • Understanding of RS232/RJ485 2/4 wire, Cat5e/Cat6 networks, and peripheral controls/interfaces.
  • Good communicator, able to deal with a range of people, tasks and obligations
  • Well organised, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of the works
  • Commercial knowledge and ability to negotiate terms with a range of parties

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Project Manager to manage refrigeration package installations on retail sites. You will be expected to coordinate site activities, ensure adherence to H&S protocols and ensure that all installations meet project design specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Operations Director
  • Interacting with clients, addressing questions, concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Issue RAMS, toolbox talks and inductions
  • Liaising with internal sub-contractors
  • Prepare reports for management regarding project status and performance.
  • Direct and manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, following project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
  • Implement and enforce all aspects of site safety & conduct regular safety inspections
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds company standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any changes to the original project plan.
  • Efficiently allocate resources, including site teams and materials
  • Complete and record all site / project documentation
