Our client is an established firm in South East London with a fantastic reputation built up over almost 50 years and with multiple offices.  They have a very collaborative and supportive culture with personal and professional development at their core as well as consistently delivering exceptional levels of customer service and always aspiring for more.  Currently seeking a Junior Property Portfolio Manager to join their team. You will receive full training and professional development.General:
  • To manage your own Property Portfolio in an efficient and proactive manner and respond to all Landlord and Tenant queries in a timely manner
  • Provide overall assistance and support to all members of the team and branch
  • To act in a professional capacity at all times, offering a high level of service that exceeds the other agents
  • Work closely with other branches and assist wherever possible
  • Ensure that the service provided is in accordance with the Landlords instructions, their legal obligations and the terms of business
  • To maintain a positive demeanour at all times, and to provide accurate advice to both Landlords and Tenants
  • To work together with the Front Office to encourage a healthy working relationship, assisting them if necessary
  • ARLA qualified desired or willing to work towards supported by the business
  Responsibilities:  
  • Ensure portfolio is fully compliant at all times including gas safeties, EICRs, PAT tests, EPCs etc…
  • Ensure all rent arrears within your Property Portfolio are chased on a daily and weekly basis and report on this during the weekly team meeting
  • First point of contact for tenants and landlords
  • Reactive and planned maintenance, instructing contractors, building relationships with them and overseeing works to ensure they are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards
  • Undertake property inspections
  • Tenancy renewals
  • Section 21s where requires
  • End of tenancy processes including timely deposit returns
