Reporting to the Group Director of Estates Development & Campus Services, the Strategic Estates Master Planner plays a crucial role in shaping and delivering the long-term vision for the Southwark estate, supporting the realisation of the Group Strategy. This role is responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of the masterplan, with a particular focus on transformative projects that leverage the opportunities presented by the wider Elephant and Castle regeneration. Key responsibilities include leading estate masterplanning initiatives, ensuring that estate development supports academic delivery and student experience, and leading feasibility and option appraisal for transformative capital projects. The ideal candidate will bring experience of leading estate masterplanning exercises, together with a track record of leading feasibility and option appraisal for major capital projects. The role demands a forward-thinking approach to estate transformation, balancing innovation with operational efficiency to create a sustainable, future-ready estate portfolio.
