Description
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies for IT services and products
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Oversee supply chain processes and implement operational improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Continually develop expertise to support growth for new projects
Profile
A successful IT procurement manager should have:
- A solid understanding of IT procurement processes
- Proven negotiation skills with IT vendors
