IT Procurement SpecialistHedge Fund, LondonPermanent, Competitive Salary4 Days in office / 1 day WFHYour new companyYou will be working for a Hedge Fund focussed on fixed income macro trading, across many major cities with $4BN AUM. You'll be joining team of 5 within the procurement team aimed on creating an established procurement function through initiative and innovation.Your new roleAs an IT expert, you will be leading and supporting projects for new IT & Technology related requirements. You will be working alongside IT stakeholders, the Head of Procurement and, in some cases, the wider procurement team to manage the IT category. The sub-categories would include everything, such as: software, hardware, networks, infrastructure, cyber etc. A major aspect of this role would be the management of Telco contracts and invoices, as well as managing and negotiating professional services elements relevant to IT.What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be an IT procurement specialist - having vast experience working on IT categories with respectable knowledge surrounding IT sourcing processes. You will need to be able to professionally present proven deliverables across the IT category as well as have a great track record of managing and pursuing senior stakeholders. Experience conducting supplier negotiations is needed, as well as and supporting the development and implementation of procurement strategy plans - strategic sourcing & category management. - Experience in managing budgets of c. $10 - $20M - Ideally in financial services, but open - Exposure managing and leading senior stakeholders meetings - Able to be hands on in a fast-paced environmentWhat you'll get in returnCompetitive salary + package and will be required in the office 4 days a week, providing a great opportunity to engage with the wider business.
