QS/Estimator
- Up to 65K depending on experience
- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Based in Tower Bridge
- Estimating/QS responsibilities day to day including pricing tenders, applications, Purchase Orders and contract negotiations, Final Accounting etc
- Immediate Start preferred

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. This position requires a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills to provide accurate cost estimates and maintain effective cost control measures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial plans.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify any potential cost implications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to provide financial insights and advice.
- Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids from contractors to ensure value for money.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to projects.
- Implement cost control measures and report on variances against budget.
- Assist in the preparation of final accounts and settlement of disputes.
Qualifications
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is essential.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
