PURPOSE OF ROLE
My client, a dynamic and innovative MGA, is seeking a Property Owners Underwriter to join their expanding team. In this role you will underwrite property owners' insurance risks and assess and manage policies for a diverse range of clients. You will work closely with brokers and clients to develop tailored insurance solutions, ensuring optimal coverage while maintaining profitability and adherence to underwriting guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assessing risks and underwriting property owner policies
- Ensuring compliance with company guidelines
- Collaborating with estate agents, property managers, and landlords on various landlord/tenant matters
- Handling customer service inquiries
EXPERIENCE
- Landlord/Property Owners Experience
- Extensive experience in underwriting property owners' insurance policies
- Proven expertise in delivering high-quality customer service
- Solid understanding of lettings processes and landlord/tenant dynamics
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities
- Strong attention to detail and adept at analytical thinking
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Underwriting and evaluating property owner insurance policies with precision
- Engaging with estate agents, property managers, and landlords to provide tailored insurance solutions
- Managing customer service inquiries promptly and professionally
