My client is seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist to provide an efficient, timely, and effective reception service, acting as the first point of contact for clients and guests. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth operations within the office environment.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring all clients and guests are greeted positively and made to feel welcome.
  • Stay informed of all planned activities each day, including meetings, seminars, and client visits.
  • Coordinate and handle deliveries, ensuring recipients are promptly notified.
  • Professionally meet and greet clients, maintaining a friendly and timely manner.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and availability.
  • Arrange couriers and taxis as required, following the firm's procedures.
  • Answer and efficiently manage incoming calls, demonstrating excellent telephone manners.
  • Take messages and ensure they are passed on in a timely manner.
  • Provide refreshments for guests as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area and meeting rooms.
  • Assist with the sorting and distribution of post and faxes.
  • Build and maintain good rapport with colleagues and assist in covering holiday arrangements and peak workloads.
  • Liaise with clients and partners to ensure high levels of client service at all times.
  • Support the Partners and Operations Director with ad hoc tasks as needed.
