Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Food & Beverage Managerwho can deliver exceptional customer service and lead the award-winning Food and Beverage team at The Lanesborough Hotel.

Awarded No. 1 Hotel in London in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, on the doorstep of Hyde Park, just a short walk from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Londons most exclusive shopping district; Sloane Street and Knightsbridge, this grand luxury mansion has undergone an inspired renovation by the famed interior designer Alberto Pinto. The hotel is home to 93 luxurious suites and bedrooms, modern British dining at The Lanesborough Grill, the vibrant Library Bar and Garden Room and the magnificent Lanesborough Club & Spa.

Candidate Profile

As a AssistantFood & Beverage Manager, you will support the Food & Beverage Manager and the Executive Resident Manager, who can develop and implement the food and beverage strategy to facilitate the delivery of an exceptional operation, achieve optimum results in client satisfaction and maximise profitability.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Previous experience managing a Michelin level restaurant preferred or at least fine dining level would be essential
  • London experience is desirable but not essential
  • Good wine knowledge
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal
  • Well groomed appearance
  • Proven track record of managing and developing a team
  • Confidant with various procedures of recruitment, appraisals, budgeting and forecasting
