We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager to support the operation and management of a popular sushi restaurant, Sushi Kyu, located in central London. The restaurant is part of a wider group of companies operated by a Japanese investment firm.
This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in restaurant operations, staff management, and marketing strategy implementation. We are looking for candidates who are eager to grow their career in the hospitality industry and are motivated to take on leadership responsibilities in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
The role will begin with assisting the Restaurant Manager, with the aim of eventually taking on full responsibility for team and store management. Were seeking someone who can help us continue to build a restaurant that is beloved by our guests.

Requirements:
Experience in restaurant managemant
Strong curiosity and a desire for both personal and organizational growth
Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative
Excellent communication skills
Conversational level or higher in both Japanese and English
Eligible to work full-time in the UK
Passion for sushi and Japanese cuisine
Strong overall perspective and decision-making ability
