Assistant Restaurant Manager Spring, Somerset House
Spring at Somerset House, London, is looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our front-of-house leadership team.
We are a produce-led, sustainability-focused restaurant known for thoughtful cooking, warm hospitality, and creating an environment where both guests and staff feel genuinely cared for.
The Role
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with senior management to ensure smooth daily operations and consistently high standards. You'll play a key role in leading, motivating, and developing the FOH team while building strong relationships with our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, coaching and supporting the FOH team to deliver warm, professional service
- Running briefings, managing floor operations, and overseeing staff development
- Building ongoing guest relationships and encouraging loyalty to Spring
- Supporting the financial performance of the restaurant through managing covers and maximizing revenue opportunities
What We're Looking For
- Previous management or senior supervisor experience in a high-quality restaurant
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest care
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- The ability to balance operational detail with a warm, personal approach
