About the role:
My client is looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead a 70-cover French bistro with a 60-seat terrace. The restaurant operates Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner, closing weekends, bank holidays and over Christmas. It averages 100 covers a day, with the busiest services midweek. The role is largely floor-based (8590%), running service and hosting, and managing a Front of House team of 8 within a 23-strong brigade. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys leading service.
About you:
- Solid experience managing a busy restaurant or bistro
Energy, personality, and confidence as a host
Strong leadership and team management skills
Commercial awareness and good organisational ability
Ideally French, Italian, or European background to fit the theme
Salary & Benefits:
Annual bonus of £5,000 linked to performance and service standards
Total package around £60,000+
Weekends, bank holidays and Christmas off
